Arun Clinic And Maternity Center

Mandoli is a place where you really get to know your neighbors, and running Arun Clinic and Maternity Center here has been quite an experience. It’s a lively spot because we have both the regular clinic side and the maternity part. That means there’s usually a baby crying somewhere or a group of family members waiting outside with flowers and bags. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a practical structure that fits into the Mandoli landscape. Inside, we try to keep things organized, but with kids and families coming in, it can get a bit messy by the end of the day. We have the delivery rooms in the back and the general check-up rooms near the front. The walls are painted a soft green, though it’s starting to peel a bit near the windows. We don’t have a big corporate office or anyone telling us how to talk to people. We just use our common sense and treat everyone who walks in like a person we might see at the market later. It’s a lot of work, especially during the night shifts when someone decides it's time to be born, but we've gotten used to the long hours. We just keep the lights on and make sure there’s enough hot water and clean towels for whatever the day brings. It’s a messy, loud, and wonderful way to spend our time here.
