Anil Kumar & Brothers

Anil Kumar & Brothers is located at 1/2036 in Modern Shahdara. It’s a family-run kind of place, and you can tell as soon as you walk in. There’s no big sign or glass doors. It’s just us working out of this space in Delhi. We handle a variety of things depending on what’s needed that week. Some days we are busy with inventory, other days we are just catching up on local deliveries. The shop gets a bit cluttered because we try to keep everything we might need on hand. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. Modern Shahdara is a lively neighborhood. There’s always someone stopping by for a chat or to ask a quick question about a price. We don’t have a website with a bunch of fancy photos. We just rely on the people who know us and the folks who live nearby. It’s been this way for years. My brothers and I have our own ways of doing things, and we don't always agree, but the work gets finished. We don’t use big words or try to sound like a huge corporation. We’re just a local business trying to keep things going. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, especially during the summer heat. But we’ve lived here our whole lives, so we wouldn't want to be anywhere else really.
