A G Arts & Creations is located over at A-184 in Maujpur, right in the New Seelampur area. It is the kind of neighborhood where everyone seems to know everyone else’s business. We have got this small space where we handle all our arts and creations. It is not a museum or some high-end gallery. It is just a workshop where we actually sit down and make things by hand. Sometimes we have a lot of stuff waiting to be finished, so the tables get pretty crowded and messy. The street outside is usually full of life, which keeps things interesting while we work. We do not have a fancy sign or anything like that. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just walking past and looking in. We spend a lot of time on the small details of what we are making. It is hard work and it takes a lot of patience. Sometimes we stay quite late when a project is nearly done and we want to see it finished. We do not use big machines for everything; a lot of it is just us and our hand tools. It gets hot in the summer, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We are not trying to change the world. We just want to make things that people find useful or nice to look at. It is a simple life here in Maujpur. We have been here a while and like the rhythm.
