Yama Impex

You can find Yama Impex at 7022, Beri Wala Bagh, right in the middle of the chaos of Azad Market. It is a crowded area, and our office is just a simple space filled with stacks of papers and old wooden desks. We have been here for a good while now, handling imports and exports day in and day out. The streets outside are always jammed with rickshaws and delivery trucks, so it gets pretty noisy during the afternoon. Most of us have worked together for years and we know the other shop owners on the block quite well. We usually get our tea from the small stall at the corner twice a day. It is not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. Instead, it is a practical place where we track shipments and talk to vendors on the phone. Sometimes the dust from the market gets inside, and we are constantly wiping down the files. We start early in the morning before the heat gets too bad. There is no big sign out front, just a small door that most people walk right past if they are not looking for us. We just focus on getting the cargo where it needs to go without making a big fuss about it. It is honest, tiring work, but it keeps us busy and the neighborhood feels like home to everyone on the team.
