W. G. Impex

W. G. Impex is located on the 2nd Floor at 471 Hamilton Road. You have to climb a couple of flights of stairs to get to us. It’s a bit of a walk up, but we’ve all gotten used to it over the years. Our office is tucked away inside an older building that has seen a lot of history. We handle various imports and exports, which mostly means a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. It’s not the most exciting place to see, just some desks, computers, and files. Hamilton Road is always busy with trucks and people moving goods from one place to another. We fit right into that kind of environment. We aren't interested in looking like a big multinational company. We’re just a small group doing our part in the trade. Being on the 2nd floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is nice when things get really hectic outside. We’ve been at 471 for quite some years now. We don't have a receptionist to greet people; we just answer the phones ourselves when they ring. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, so the stairs become our daily exercise. It’s a practical and unpretentious life. We focus on getting the shipments through without making mistakes. No one here is trying to be a leader in the industry.
