Varalakshmi Impex Llp is located deep in the heart of Delhi, specifically in Kucha Mahajani. Our address is a bit of a mouthful—Property No. 1096, 1101, and 1102 on the fourth floor. You have to enter from 1166, Kucha Natwa. If you’ve ever walked through those lanes, you know it’s like a maze. It’s one of the oldest parts of the city. We are right there in the middle of all that history. Being on the fourth floor means we get a little bit of a break from the noise on the street, though the sounds of the market still reach us. We do impex work, mostly dealing with the various traders around the area. The office is split across those private numbers, so we are often moving between rooms. It’s not a shiny new building. The walls have seen a lot of years. We share the space with the memory of the people who worked here before us. Shri R S Sharma’s son runs things now. We don’t bother with fancy decorations. A few calendars on the wall and some sturdy desks are all we need. It’s a very local way of working. You have to know the shortcuts through the alleys to get anywhere fast. It’s a busy, dusty, and very real place to run a business day after day. We keep the lights on and the files moving no matter how crowded the street gets.
