Uttama Charitable Federation

We operate out of Raja Vihar, right near the Samay Pur Badli Metro Station. Being on the ground floor at B-159/A3/1 makes it easy for people to find us without climbing too many stairs. It’s a busy area and the noise from the metro coming and going is something we’ve just gotten used to over time. Uttama Charitable Federation isn't some huge organization with glass walls. We’re just a small group of people working from this corner of Delhi. Most days involve a lot of basic tasks, from sorting out papers to answering the door for locals. The space is a bit cramped when everyone is here at once, but we make it work. The neighborhood is lively, though the traffic gets heavy near the station around five. We started this because there was a need, and we’ve stayed here because it feels like home now. Sometimes the fan in the front room makes a clicking sound, and the paint is peeling a bit near the door, but it doesn't stop the work. We don't spend much on decorations or flashy signs. Most of our time goes into the daily chores of running a federation like this. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we get the jobs done. If you're coming from the metro, it’s just a short walk. We’ve been part of this street for a while and most of the shopkeepers nearby know who we are.
