Udgambharat Social Welfare Foundation

We operate out of House No. 358 in Wazirpur. It’s a residential building that we’ve converted for our use. Wazirpur is a place that everyone knows for its energy and the sheer number of people living and working here. Udgambharat Social Welfare Foundation is basically just a few rooms filled with the tools we need to do our work. There’s a small courtyard area where we sometimes sit if the weather isn't too hot. The neighbors are mostly families who have been here for generations. You can hear the sounds of domestic life all around us—cooking smells, kids playing, and the occasional argument from down the street. It makes us feel connected to the area. Our office doesn't have a lot of modern furniture; we use what we have, which is mostly old desks and some metal folding chairs. We don't have a big budget for making things look pretty, so the walls are just plain white with a few marks here and there. We spend a lot of time just talking to people from the neighborhood who drop by to see what we are doing. It’s a very open-door kind of place. We don't have strict office hours in the way a big company would; we're usually here when there's work to be done. It's a simple, honest way to spend the day, working right in the heart of the community in Wazirpur without any fuss or extra bother.
