Located at 4404 in Katra Lekhraj, we are right in the middle of the chaos that is Gali-Bahuji in Sadar Bajar. If you’ve ever walked through these lanes, you know it’s a tight squeeze with people and carts everywhere. Our business is focused on polyester imports and exports. The building is old and the rooms are packed with big bales of fabric. There’s hardly any room to move around sometimes. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or dealing with paperwork for shipments. It’s a lot of back and forth with transporters and customs stuff. The air in the Katra can be a bit stuffy, so we always have the door open to get some breeze, even if it brings in all the noise from the street. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just move polyester from one place to another and make sure the accounts are right. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and counting. Some days we are here late into the evening trying to finish up the day’s work. The market has its own rhythm and we’ve been part of it for a long time now. It’s a tough environment but it’s where we belong. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the fabric, and the constant bustle of Pahadi Dheeraj. We keep things moving and that’s about it.
