Thermosil Glaswerke

Our shop is number 9 in the Durga Market, over in Nahar Pur, Rohini Section 7. It’s not a huge place, just a standard shop front where we handle our daily glass business. Thermosil Glaswerke has been in this particular market for quite a while. It has a typical local market vibe—lots of people walking by and many other small shops nearby selling all sorts of things. We deal mostly with specialized glass products and components. Most of our limited space is taken up by stock and the wooden desk where we handle the customer orders. It gets a bit crowded and tight in here when a new shipment arrives from the factory. We do not have a big staff at all, just a few people who really know the glass trade inside and out. We spend a lot of our time talking to customers who come in looking for very specific sizes or types of glass for their projects. Sometimes the market gets incredibly noisy, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. We just keep the front door open and wait for the next person to walk in with a question. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays or bright lights. It’s more about having the right items on the shelves when someone needs them. People in the Rohini area have come to know us by now. We just do our bit.
