The Rishab Elastic Industries

Our place is on Bahadur Garh Road, right in the heart of Sadar Bazar. If you know the area, you know how packed it gets with people and carts moving all day long. The Rishab Elastic Industries isn’t a huge corporate setup, it’s more of a family-run feel. We make elastics here. It’s a lot of spinning wheels and big rolls of white and black material. The building is old, like most things in 2227, but it works for what we need. We spend most of our time making sure the tension on the machines is right. If it’s too loose, the product is no good. We don’t really do fancy ads or have a big sales team. Usually, people just find us through word of mouth or by walking past the shop. It gets dusty inside with all the fiber flying around, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s when we take a break. Otherwise, it’s just the sound of the looms. We’ve seen the market change a lot over the years, but making elastic is what we know. It’s a simple business. We pack the rolls into sacks and send them out to the garment makers. It’s been this way for a long time now and we don't plan on changing much.
