The Promoter'S

You can find The Promoter'S over at 2184, Qasimjan Street. This is in Ballimaran, which is a very old and crowded part of the city. There is history everywhere you look, but mostly it is just very narrow streets and lots of people. Our place at 2184 is a bit tight, but we make it work. It’s a tall building with steep stairs that can be a bit of a workout every morning. The street outside is always full of life, from people selling snacks to carts being pushed along. It is never quiet here, even late at night. We have been in this spot for years and we know all the other shopkeepers on the block. The air smells like spices and old stone. Inside our space, it’s a bit cluttered with papers and books, but we know where everything is. We don't use a lot of modern gadgets; we prefer the way we’ve always done things. It gets quite warm in the summer, so we have a few fans going all the time. Working in Ballimaran means you have to be patient with the crowds. We like the character of Qasimjan Street. It feels like we are part of something that has been around for a long time. 2184 is our home base and we are happy with it.
