The Indogolds

Our spot is tucked away on the first floor at 1072/1167-101 in Kucha Mahajani. If you know Chandni Chowk, you know how busy it gets around here. We’ve been operating The Indogolds from this small office for quite some time now. It’s mostly just us handling the daily paperwork and meeting people who find their way up the stairs. The area is famous for gold, so there is always a lot of noise and movement outside the door. We don't have a big fancy storefront or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get the work done. Some days are slow, while others are a bit of a scramble with the phones ringing. We try to keep things organized, but in a place like this, it’s always a bit of a challenge. Most people who come by are regulars or have heard about us through word of mouth. We don’t do much in terms of shouting about ourselves. We just open up in the morning and stay until the work for the day is finished. Sometimes the power cuts out or the traffic downstairs is just too much, but that’s just life in this part of town. It’s a tight-knit community in this building. We know the neighbors and the tea guy knows exactly how we like it. We focus on the metal and the numbers and just keep going day by day. It’s not fancy, but it works.
