Technica Auto Works

Our workshop is located at 1/165, Kali Bagichi Wale Punja Sharif in the Kashmere Gate area. We are right near the Community Center and Punja Sharif, which is a place that is always full of traffic and people. Technica Auto Works is a busy garage. We have cars coming in and out all day, and there is always the sound of wrenches and engines being tested. The walls are covered in old tools and calendars from years ago. It’s a bit of a greasy place, but that is expected when you are fixing engines. We spend most of our time under cars or looking at parts that need replacing. Kashmere Gate is a tough place to work because of the heat and the constant bustle, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a waiting room with a TV or anything like that. Most people just stand around and watch us work or go get a tea nearby. We have a small crew and we’ve all been working on cars for a long time. It’s an honest way to make a living. Sometimes we have to hunt for parts in the local market, which takes time. We just try to fix what is broken and keep the cars running. It’s not fancy, just a local auto shop doing its thing every day. The floor is cracked and there are oil stains everywhere, but the tools are good. We work until the light fades and then close up the big shutter.
