We are located over at Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, specifically at Cw541 near the G.T. Karnal Bypass. It is a very dusty and noisy place because of all the trucks and heavy vehicles moving around constantly. Taneja Tyres has been here since the area was much smaller than it is today. We deal with all kinds of tyres, mostly for the big lorries and commercial trucks that pass through the bypass. The workshop is always busy with someone changing a flat or looking for a replacement. We have a lot of stacks of rubber everywhere, so it always smells like a typical tyre shop. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot and the sun is beating down on the bypass. We don’t have a fancy air-conditioned office; we just have a small cabin where we handle the bills and talk to the drivers. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know we don’t talk much, we just get the job done so they can get back on the road. We aren't some big corporate tyre chain with hundreds of branches. We are a private company, sure, but it feels more like a local garage. Sometimes the deliveries are delayed because of traffic on the highway, but that’s just life here. We just keep our heads down and keep the trucks moving. It’s what we do every day. We don't have any fancy brochures. We just sell tyres.
