Surya Enamels (I) Pvt. Ltd. is based out of Room Number 20 at 1513, Gali Akhoonji in Frarash Khana. It is one of those old, very narrow lanes where everything is tucked away and hidden. If you are not familiar with this specific Gali, it might take you a little while to find the exact door to our place. We have been operating from this small space for quite some time now. It is certainly not a big factory or one of those shiny new office buildings. It is just a room where we handle our business and keep things moving along. The whole area is always crowded with people and handcarts moving back and forth through the lanes. You can hear the noise of the city right outside the door all day long. We do not really have the space for big signs or any kind of displays. Most of our work comes through word of mouth or from people who have known us for years in this trade. It gets a bit cramped inside with all the paperwork and the various samples we keep, but we make it work for us. The walls are a bit old and the lighting is not exactly the best, but it is home for the business. We do not spend any money on fancy decorations or furniture. We just focus on the enamel work and making sure that the orders are handled correctly. It is a very traditional way.
