If you head down to Chotta Bazar in Kashmere Gate, you’ll find Soneja Auto Ways at 792. This area is famous for all the vehicle parts and our shop is right in that mix. It’s a very old part of the city. The lanes are narrow and there’s always someone hauling a load past the door. We’ve been at 792 for many years. Inside, it’s mostly shelves reaching up to the ceiling. It’s not a place for lounging around. We are usually busy looking up parts or moving boxes. The air smells like oil and old metal sometimes. That’s just the way it is in Kashmere Gate. We know the other shop owners around us well. We often share a tea in the afternoon when things slow down for a minute. Soneja Auto Ways isn't a fancy name on a glass building. It's just a sign above a shop door in a busy market. We keep things basic. People come to us because they know where 792 is. The stairs are a bit steep and the lighting is just okay, but it works for us. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just know our stock and we know our street. It’s a lot of hard work every day, but we are used to the noise and the crowd of Chotta Bazar.
