Singhal Polytech Limited

Being in Main Sadar Bazar means you never really get a quiet moment. Our place, Singhal Polytech Limited, sits right on Press Street at number 364. If you have ever been around this part of Delhi, you know how it is with the rickshaws and the constant loading of goods. It is a tight squeeze most days, but we manage to get the work done. We deal with polytech stuff, mostly plastics and materials that go into other products. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. Most of the day is spent checking inventories or making sure orders are packed right so they can head out. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and serves our purpose well enough. We have got a small crew here, some have been with us for years, and we just kind of know the rhythm of the street by now. You get used to the noise of the printing presses nearby and the tea stall guy who comes around every couple of hours. There is no fancy lobby or anything like that. Just desks, stacks of samples, and a lot of phone calls. We try to keep things moving as fast as the traffic outside allows, which isn't always saying much. It is just how things work in this part of town. We open up early, drink our chai, and handle whatever comes through the door until it is time to lock up and head home through the crowd.
