Shukrana Gratitude Foundation

Shukrana Gratitude Foundation is located over in Ashok Vihar Phase-I. We are on the first floor of H-86 in Block-H. It is a standard residential-style building, and we have taken up one of the floors to do our work. Getting here is simple enough if you know the different blocks in Ashok Vihar. The stairs are a little narrow, so you have to be careful when you are carrying heavy things up. Once you get inside, it is a fairly open space with a few rooms. We have some old wooden desks and chairs that have seen better days. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is a relief when we have a lot of writing and planning to do. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we sort through our mail and papers. It is not a corporate environment at all; it feels more like someone’s home that turned into an office. We have a small balcony where we keep a few potted plants, though they struggle a bit in the Delhi heat. Most days are spent planning out our next steps or catching up on phone calls. We do not have any big posters or branding on the walls, just the basic necessities for the foundation. It is a calm place to work and it fits us just right. We are usually here from morning until the sun goes down, just keeping things moving as best as we can.
