It’s a busy place, mostly because of the kids and the sports stuff we have lying around. Shikshak Colni is a friendly neighborhood where people look out for each other. Our house is always a bit cluttered with balls, bats, and other gear. We don't have a professional gym or anything like that, just the space we have and the local grounds we use for practice. We spend a lot of time outdoors, so the office itself is often empty during the day. When we are inside, it’s usually to fill out forms or plan for the next event or game. The house number is 1270, and it’s easy enough to spot because there’s usually some activity going on near the gate. We aren't formal people at all. We talk to the youth in the same way we talk to our own families. It’s about being there and showing up every day for them. Sometimes the equipment gets worn out and we have to patch it up with tape or stitches, but we make do. We don't have a big board of directors or anything fancy like that. It’s just us and the local community members who want to see the kids stay active and healthy. It’s a lot of work, and sometimes our backs ache by the end of the day, but it’s the good kind of tired that comes from doing something real in Shikshak Colni.
