If you come to Rohini Sector 3, you can find us on the first floor of A-2/72. It’s a typical Delhi neighborhood where everything is close together. We have been in this office for quite a while now. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, but you get used to them. It’s a basic space where we handle all our urban infrastructure planning. We have a lot of large tables for spreading out blueprints and maps. The room is usually a bit cluttered with folders and rolls of paper. It’s not a place where we worry about looking perfect for visitors. We’re more focused on getting the actual planning done. The neighborhood is fairly quiet during the day, which helps us concentrate. We don’t have a massive staff, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We handle the paperwork and coordinate with different sites from here. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a deadline, and you can hear the local market shutting down outside. It’s just a normal, everyday work environment. We keep a kettle in the corner for making coffee and keep the work moving. It’s practical and it suits us just fine. We have a lot of old files that probably need sorting, but we just keep adding more to the pile as new things come in.
