Shri Somolai Balaji Beej Bhandar

We are Shri Somolai Balaji Beej Bhandar. Our shop is located at 4067, Naya Bazar. If you know the area near Lahori Gate, then we are very easy to find. It is a very old and crowded part of the city, but it has a lot of life in it. We mainly deal with seeds and items that farmers need for their work. Being in Naya Bazar means there is always a lot of shouting and people moving through the narrow streets. It can be a bit of a mess with all the carts and rickshaws, but we like the energy. Our shop is not very big, but we make sure every inch is used for storing bags of seeds. You can smell the grain and the earth the moment you step inside. Most of the people who buy from us have been coming here for many years. They are more like friends than just customers. We do not have any bright lights or modern signs outside. Just our name on the board above the door. We spend our days talking to folks about their land or what the weather might do to the crops. It is good, honest work that keeps us connected to the ground. We are not trying to be the biggest seed store out there. We just want to provide what is needed. Sometimes we sit on the wooden bench out front and just watch the market go by.
