If you ever come down to Sadar Bazar, you know how crowded it gets. We are located at 4391 in Gali Lotan Jat. It’s on the second floor, so there are quite a few stairs to climb every single day. My legs definitely feel it by the time evening rolls around. We’ve been running this hosiery business from Pahari Dhiraj for a long time. The space is filled with boxes and rolls of fabric most of the time. It gets a bit cramped, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have to find a place for everything. The noise from the street below never really stops, it’s just part of the background here. We make various hosiery items and try to stay on top of what the market wants. It’s a lot of manual work, checking the quality and packing things up for delivery. The light in the workshop isn't always the brightest, but we make do. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a practical setup for getting things made and shipped out. Some days the heat in the building is quite a lot, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People come and go all day, mostly regulars who have been buying from us for years. It’s a busy life here in the heart of the market, and we just keep pushing through the daily tasks.
