Shiva Interaco Ltd is based at D-110 in Kamla Nagar. If you’ve been around the university area, you know how crowded and lively it gets. Our office is right in the middle of all that. We do a bit of everything, mostly acting as a bridge between different businesses that need to trade. It involves a lot of sitting at desks and being on the phone for hours. The building is older, so the stairs are a bit narrow and the light isn't always great, but it’s home for us. We’ve seen many students come and go over the years while we’ve stayed here. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big marketing team. We just rely on the contacts we’ve made over the years. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out or use the backup generator. It’s just part of working in this part of Delhi. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just focus on the work we have on our desks. Our team is small, mostly people from the local neighborhood who walk to work. We like it that way. It keeps things simple. We open the shutters in the morning and stay until the work is done. It’s a steady job in a busy place.
