Shiva Charitable Foundation

We are over in Burari City, in the Lal Dora Village area. Our office is at Khasra Number 820/2, specifically in the corner portion of the upper ground floor. It’s a bit of an older building, and the streets around here can be quite narrow and busy. We’ve been here for a long time, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Our foundation is pretty small. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy boardroom. It’s mostly just a couple of us and some volunteers who stop by when they have time. We do charitable work for the local community. Sometimes that means helping someone with a bill or just giving some advice on a problem they’re having. We have a few chairs for visitors and a desk that wobbles a little if you lean on it too hard. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We don’t have any big slogans or glossy brochures. We just talk to people like regular neighbors. Some days it gets pretty loud with the kids playing outside, but we don’t mind the noise. We keep the doors open and try to be available whenever someone needs us. It’s not a complicated operation, just a small place doing what it can for the folks in Burari. We’ve known most of the families here for a long time and they know where to find us.
