Shiva Buildtech Pvt. Ltd. is situated in C-6 of the Tulsi Appts in Sector 14, Rohini. Being in North Delhi means we are always surrounded by construction and people moving about. Our office in the apartments is where we do all the planning and the boring stuff like accounts and permits. It is a busy little space with blueprints rolled up on the tables and samples of building materials tucked into the corners. We don't have a big fancy lobby. Instead, you walk in and you are right there with the team. There is usually a lot of talk about cement prices and labor schedules. We have some old computers that we use for the technical drawings, and they hum quite a bit. Sector 14 is a lively area, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee and take short breaks when the work gets too much. The walls are covered with photos of different sites we have worked on, but they are just pinned up with tape. It is an honest office for a construction business. We are not trying to impress anyone with expensive decor; we just want to make sure the buildings we help with are done right. It is a tight-knit group of us here and we just get on with the job.
