This Sembawang Infrastructure (India) Pvt. Ltd. office is actually part of the Punj Lloyd group. We are located in Sector 03 of Rohini, Delhi, at B-9/12. Being in Rohini puts us in a good spot for managing the projects in the northern parts of the city. It’s a residential and commercial mix around here, so it’s fairly easy to get to. We handle a lot of the technical side of the infrastructure work from this office. There’s usually a lot of blueprints and site maps spread out on the tables. Because we are a Punj Lloyd company, we often have to coordinate with the larger network, which keeps us busy. The office stays active with engineers and project managers coming in and out all day. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can, even when the red tape gets in the way. It’s just a standard office setup with a focus on the work at hand. We don't go in for fancy decorations. Most of the furniture is just there to be used. We spend our days on the phone or in meetings trying to figure out the best way to move forward with the construction phases. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time. The heat in Delhi during May and June makes it tough for the site crews, so we spend a lot of time checking on them and making sure things aren't grinding to a halt.
