Our branch is set up at House Number 366 in Block-A of Kaushik Enclave, which is over in the Burari area of Delhi. It’s a residential neighborhood, so the streets are usually filled with kids playing or people heading to the market. We operate out of a regular house that we’ve converted into our workspace. There’s a lot of activity every morning when the drivers show up to get their routes for the day. We don’t have much in the way of signs, so you really have to look for the house number. Inside, the rooms are packed with folders and some spare packing materials. The floor is a bit scuffed from moving boxes around, but we don’t mind. We have a small desk near the entrance where we take in the daily mail. Burari can be a bit out of the way for some, but for us, it’s home. We’ve spent years getting to know the shortcuts through the enclave to avoid the main road traffic. The work is mostly just keeping track of numbers and making sure nothing gets lost in the warehouse. We drink a lot of tea and talk about how the weather is changing. It’s not a polished corporate office with glass walls; it’s just a place where we get the job done every day without making a big fuss about it.
