If you’ve ever been to Chandni Chowk, you know it’s a total maze. Sabrang is tucked away in the Krishna Cloth Market at shop number 52. It’s a tight squeeze in these lanes, but there’s a lot of energy in the air. We are surrounded by other cloth traders and the smell of street food. It’s a very old part of town, and our shop feels like it’s been part of the fabric for a long time. There isn't much room for a big office, so we make do with what we have. We spend our days talking to people coming in from the market and managing the stock. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and it’s always busy. We don't have air conditioning that works all that well, so we keep the doors open. You get used to the noise of the rickshaws and the shouting after a while. We aren't some big corporation with a high-rise office. We are right here on the ground in the middle of the market. People know us at shop 52. We’ve seen the market change through the seasons, the crowds getting bigger during the holidays. It’s a lot of manual work, moving rolls of fabric and checking orders by hand. We like being in the heart of Chandni Chowk because that’s where everything happens. It’s just how we live and work.
