Roop Nagar Hospital

If you walk down to 4/40 in Roop Nagar, you will find us right there at the hospital. It has been our home for quite a long time now. The building is older, but it has a lot of character and everyone in the neighborhood knows where it is. We have seen Roop Nagar change quite a bit over the years, with new shops opening up and more people moving in. Our hospital stays pretty much the same, though. We start early in the morning, usually before the sun is even fully up, getting everything ready for the day. There is always a lot of paperwork to handle and patients to see. We don’t have any of those fancy slogans or big posters. It’s just us doing the work that needs to be done. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a lightbulb flickers, but we just fix it and keep going. The staff here are mostly locals, so there is a lot of chatting in the hallways about things happening in the neighborhood. It feels more like a community center than a sterile hospital sometimes. We see kids who were born here growing up and bringing their own families back. It is a steady kind of life. We focus on the daily tasks, like keeping the waiting area tidy and making sure the doctors have what they need. It’s a busy life at 4/40 Roop Nagar, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
