R.K. Sales Corporation

R.K. Sales Corporation is situated on the 1st Floor at 4873, right across from the Westend Cinema at Bara Tooti Chowk in Sadar Bazar. If you know Sadar Bazar, you know how crowded and loud it gets every single day. We are up one flight of stairs, which gets us a little bit away from the main rush on the street, but you can still hear everything. Our space is mostly for sales and keeping track of our inventory. It is a lot of talking on the phone and writing down orders. The building is quite old and the stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when you are carrying things up or down. Being near Westend Cinema makes it easy to tell people where we are, even if the area is a maze of lanes. We have been here for a long time and have seen the market change through the seasons. In the summer it is very hot, and during festivals, it is almost impossible to move through the chowk. We just keep to our routine and make sure the work gets done. There are no fancy offices or air conditioning that works all the time. It is just a practical place to do business. We know many of the other traders around Bara Tooti Chowk. We grab tea from the same guy every morning and wait for the day to start. That’s how it goes for us here at 4873 on the first floor.
