Rising Youth Foundation

Rising Youth Foundation is on the first floor of House No. 24A. We are located in Vijay Vihar, specifically Block B of Hargovind Vihar in Rohini Ph 2 Delhi. This part of North Delhi is always full of activity. Since we are on the first floor, we can see everything happening on the street below. There are often street vendors and kids playing nearby. Our space in House No. 24A is simple. We have a few desks and some shelves filled with books and files. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so we have to be careful when we are carrying things. It is not a polished office like you see in the movies. It is a real place with some dust on the shelves and mismatched curtains. We spend our days here talking to people and planning out our next steps. Rohini Ph 2 is a big area, but our little corner in Hargovind Vihar feels like a small community. We know the people at the nearby shops. The office gets a lot of sun in the afternoon, which makes it quite warm inside. We just turn on the fans and keep working. It is a straightforward operation. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just do the work that needs doing every day.
