Rishabh Cards

You’ll find Rishabh Cards at number 37, right on the corner of Gali Raja Kedar Nath in Chawri Bazar. If you know this area, you know it is the heart of the paper trade. Our shop is small, but it is packed from floor to ceiling with different types of cardstock and paper samples. There is always that distinct smell of ink and cut paper in the air. We spend most of our time helping people pick out designs for weddings or special events. It can get pretty crowded in here when a whole family comes in to choose their invitations. We have some old wooden stools and a counter that has seen better days. Chawri Bazar is a maze, but being on the corner helps people spot us. We don't use high-tech machines for everything; a lot of the work is still done with a bit of manual effort and attention to detail. The noise from the street outside never really stops, but we are used to the shouting and the bells of the rickshaws. We’ve seen trends come and go in the card business, yet some things stay the same. People still want something nice to hold in their hands. We just keep our heads down and focus on the printing and the cutting. It’s a busy life, but we like being right in the middle of the action here. The fans hum overhead and we just try to get orders done.
