Rightway Motors

Down at 56, Sehgal Motor Market in Kashmere Gate, things are always moving fast. If you’ve ever walked through this part of Delhi, you know how crowded the streets get with people and vehicles. Rightway Motors has been operating out of this small shop for quite a few years now. The space is packed to the ceiling with boxes and various motor parts. It often takes a minute or two to find the exact component a customer is looking for, but it’s usually tucked away in a corner somewhere. The noise from the market outside never really stops, but after a while, you just stop noticing it. Much of our time is spent talking to people who walk in or answering the phone. It is definitely not a quiet way to spend the day. We deal with all sorts of engines and parts. Most of the people working here have been around motors since they were young. We don’t do any advertising or promotional stuff because folks in Kashmere Gate already know where to find us. We just open up the shutters every morning and see what the day brings. Usually, we start with a cup of tea while looking over the list of things to do. By the afternoon, the shop is a bit chaotic with parts everywhere. Staying perfectly organized is tough in a market like this, but we manage. It’s just how this business works for us. There is always something to look for in the stacks of boxes.
