Research Project Office Sunder Lal Jain Hospital

Our office is tucked away in Ashok Vihar Phase - III. We’re specifically the Research Project Office for Sunder Lal Jain Hospital. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but that’s the name on the door. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We aren't the main hospital building, just this specific project branch. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it stays pretty calm outside. Inside, it’s usually quiet too, except for the sound of typing or someone on the phone. We spend our days looking at data and keeping records straight. We don't see many patients here; it's more about the administrative and research side of things. I usually bring my lunch and eat at my desk while looking out at the street. Ashok Vihar has its own rhythm. The office isn't very big. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of files to move around. We don't have a receptionist in a fancy suit. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. The air conditioning unit in the corner makes a bit of a rattling sound, but we’ve gotten used to it. We have a small kettle for making tea, which is basically what keeps us going through the afternoon slump. Being in Phase - III means we’re away from the main hospital’s chaos. My chair squeaks every time I lean back. It’s a modest office. We just get the work done.
