Rakesh Tractor Spares

If you ever come down to Mori Gate, you will find us at 3626/1 in the Bhola Ram Market. It is a crowded place, especially with all the tractor parts and heavy machinery moving around all day. Rakesh Tractor Spares has been in this particular spot for a long time. The shop is small and the walls are covered in grease and oil stains, which is just part of the job when you deal with tractor spares. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes you have to climb a shaky ladder just to find one specific bolt or gear. It gets very hot in the summer because the ventilation isn't great, so we keep a big pedestal fan running constantly. There is always a lot of shouting back and forth between the shops in the market, but it is all friendly enough. We spend most of our time wiping down parts or talking to farmers and mechanics who come in looking for something they can't find anywhere else. We don't have a computer system that actually works half the time, so we still write most of our receipts by hand in those big red books. It is messy work and our hands are rarely clean, but we like the routine of it. We just focus on keeping the stock filled so that when someone drives a long way to see us, we actually have what they need.
