Chawri Bazar is always a bit chaotic, and our shop at A-3624 is right in the thick of it. If you’ve ever been down these narrow lanes, you know the vibe. Rakesh Autos is where we spend our lives surrounded by engine parts, gears, and the smell of oil. It’s a small space, so we have to stack things high up to the ceiling. Finding a specific bolt or a clutch plate can take a minute, but we usually know exactly which pile it’s in. My hands are almost always greasy. That’s just part of the job when you’re dealing with auto spares all day. We get all sorts of customers, from mechanics looking for wholesale stuff to a guy trying to fix his old scooter. It’s loud out on the street with the carts and the crowds, but inside we just focus on the orders. We don't have a website or any of that. People just know we are here. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside for a break when it's not too crowded. It’s hard work and the dust from the market gets everywhere, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop, just the one that actually has the part you're looking for when everyone else says they’re out of stock. We just keep our heads down and keep the parts moving for the drivers in the city.
