Our office is on the first floor at 104, right in the middle of the Kundewalan area near Ajmeri Gate. It is a busy spot, especially with all the narrow lanes around 751. Rajasthan Pipes Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from here for a good while. You have to climb a narrow set of stairs to reach us. It is a bit cramped inside because we have so many samples and ledgers lying around. The street noise from Ajmeri Gate never really stops, but after a few weeks, you just stop hearing it. We deal with pipes of all sizes. Most of the time, we are on the phone talking to suppliers or coordinating deliveries. The light in the office is not the best, so we use these old desk lamps that have been here forever. It is a family-run kind of vibe. We do not have a receptionist or anything. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the trucks to navigate the traffic. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the gridlock, but everyone in this area understands how it is. We keep the books manually mostly, and there are stacks of files dating back years. It is not a high-tech place, just a workspace where we get things done. We know most of the other traders around here. It is a tight community. We just keep our heads down and handle the pipe business as best as we can.
