Raj Clinic

Our place is on the ground floor of D-17 in Gandhi Vihar. It’s very easy to find because we are right near the police chowki. If you see the officers outside, you know you are almost at the door. Being on the ground floor helps because nobody has to climb stairs when they aren't feeling their best. The room is a bit small, but we have enough chairs for people to sit while they wait. Gandhi Vihar is a crowded place most days, so there is always noise from the street coming in through the front door. We see a lot of people from the neighborhood. Some have been coming here since we first opened up years ago. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes when it gets really busy, papers might pile up a bit on the desk. That’s just part of working in a clinic. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with a TV or anything. It’s just a plain space where we do our work. The light inside is a bit bright, but it helps us see what we are doing during the evening hours. We usually stay open until late because that is when people get off their jobs and have time to visit. It’s a busy life here near the chowki. We just take it one day at a time and help whoever walks through the door. Most people just walk in without an appointment and we fit them in eventually.
