We are located in the Standard Hotel Building, right at 63/215 in the Bagh Diwar area of Fatehpuri. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always packed with people and rickshaws. Our office is in an old building that has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb. Being in the waterproofing business, we spend a lot of time thinking about leaks and damp walls, which is funny because the old building we are in has its own quirks. We mostly deal with local property owners who are tired of seeing patches on their ceilings every time the monsoon hits. We’ve got rolls of materials and buckets of sealant stacked up in the corners. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a working office where we plan out our jobs for the week. The smell of tar and chemicals is something you just get used to after a while. Fatehpuri is a loud place, and the sounds of the market always drift through our windows. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; we just rely on people telling their friends that we did a decent job. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because of the weather, but we try to be straight with people about that. It’s hard work, crawling around on roofs or in basements, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in this building for years and know all the shortcuts through the narrow lanes.
