Pushpa Auto

We are Pushpa Auto, and our shop is located in Kashmere Gate too. We are at Shop No 4, Building No 142, on the ground floor of the United Complex on Nichal Road. Being in the United Complex means we are surrounded by many other businesses, but we have our own little spot here. We deal with various auto parts, mostly for two-wheelers and some small cars. The shop is quite compact, so we have to be very clever about how we stack our boxes to make sure we have enough space to walk around. It’s a very busy environment, with delivery boys and customers coming in and out constantly. I manage the shop with the help of one or two other guys. We spend our time taking orders over the phone or helping the people who walk in. It’s not a glamorous job. We are often surrounded by cardboard boxes and the smell of new rubber tires. We don't have any big corporate slogans or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the parts people need and selling them at a fair price. The market here is very competitive, so we just try to be honest and do our work well. At the end of the day, we close the shop and head home, ready to do it all again the next morning. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve grown used to over the years.
