People around Bazar Sita Ram usually know us by the Peeli Kothi landmark. We’ve been at 2041 Shyam Kunj for a long time now. It’s a busy spot. Mornings are the worst when the market starts waking up and the noise begins. We handle sales and distribution mostly. It isn't a fancy setup. No glass doors or air conditioning that works all the time. Just a regular office with desks piled high with ledgers and boxes waiting to go out to customers. The fans hum all day. There is always someone coming in to ask about a price or a delivery time. We spend a lot of our time on the phone. Sometimes we are tracking down where a certain batch of goods ended up. It gets a bit chaotic when the narrow lanes get blocked by carts, but that's just how things work here. The tea usually arrives cold from the stall downstairs. We drink it anyway because there's too much to do. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us. We make sure orders get filled and the numbers match at the end of the month. If you walk past the old yellow building, you'll see us there. We are probably arguing over a shipping list or checking the stock one more time before we lock up. It’s honest work. It keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without much of a break.
