Popli Plastics

Popli Plastics is tucked away in New Market, right in the Sadar Bazar area at 5411. If you know the market, you know it's always packed with people and carts moving back and forth. Our shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot of plastic goods into every shelf and corner. We've been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by name. It’s a loud place, especially in the mornings when the new stock arrives. We mostly sell to the local vendors who come by to fill their own shops. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic trying to find a specific item in the back, but we usually manage. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, and we use an old desk for all our ledger work. We don't do much fancy advertising or anything like that. People just find us because they need plastic stuff and we happen to have it. Dealing with the traffic in Sadar Bazar is probably the hardest part of the day. My brother handles the inventory while I talk to the customers who walk in. We keep a small radio playing in the background most of the time. It gets dusty with all the foot traffic, so we're always sweeping. It’s just a regular market life for us. We've got buckets, containers, and all sorts of bits and pieces stacked up high on the shelves near the ceiling.
