Pinu Handloom Private Limited

Pinu Handloom is right in the thick of things in Old Delhi. We are at 4192/1 on the ground floor front side in Gali Daroga, Chhatta Gosayi. This is part of the Jogi Wara area in Nai Sarak, which is famous for its narrow lanes and endless shops. If you’ve ever walked through Nai Sarak, you know how packed and historic it feels. Our shop is easy to miss if you aren't looking closely, but we are right there on the ground floor. It’s a very old building, like most of the structures in this part of the city. We deal with handloom items, so the space is filled with the smell of fabric and the sight of many different patterns. It’s a very traditional way of working. There’s hardly enough room for two people to pass in the gali outside, and it’s always crowded with shoppers and laborers carrying heavy loads. We’ve been here for a long time and the chaos of Old Delhi is just normal to us. Our front-side location helps a bit with visibility, but it’s still a small, cramped spot. We don't have air conditioning or modern furniture. We just have our stocks of handloom goods and a small place to sit and talk to anyone who comes in. It’s a very authentic experience, working in a place with so much history. We just do our business the old-fashioned way, surrounded by the life of Nai Sarak.
