National Auto Industries

National Auto Industries is right in the heart of Wazirpur Industrial Area at B-32/1. If you know Wazirpur, you know it’s a place of constant noise and metal. Our workshop is filled with the sound of lathes and other machines running from early morning until late evening. We make various small metal parts for the automotive industry. My hands are almost always black with grease and oil, and I’ve mostly given up on keeping my clothes clean. The workshop is a bit cramped because we have a lot of machinery packed into a small space, so you have to be careful where you walk. It’s very hot in there during the summer, and the smell of cutting oil is everywhere. I’ve been running this place for a long time and I know every quirk of the old machines we use. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy office. If a customer comes by, they usually just find me on the shop floor. We keep a big container of cold water in the corner for the workers because it’s hard work and the heat can be brutal. We aren't a giant corporation, just a local manufacturer trying to keep things moving. We don't do much in terms of marketing. We just focus on making the parts as best as we can and getting them delivered to the factories that need them.
