Narang Eye Institute

You can find us at B-8 in Derawal Nagar. It’s a pretty convenient spot since we are quite near the Model Town Metro Station. You can see people walking from the station all day long. Narang Eye Institute is where we spend our time looking at charts and helping people with their vision. The building is a standard Delhi structure, nothing too flashy on the outside, but we keep the inside tidy and functional. Derawal Nagar is a bit more organized than some other parts of the city, which makes getting to work a bit easier. Most of our morning is spent setting up the equipment and making sure the waiting area isn't too cluttered. We see a lot of elderly people from the neighborhood who have lived here for a long time. It’s a lot of routine work, checking eyes and talking about glasses. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just an eye clinic in the 110009 zip code. The proximity to the metro means we get people from further away too, not just the local Derawal Nagar residents. Sometimes the afternoon gets quiet, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by towards Model Town. It is a steady, predictable life here at B-8, and we are just happy to have a place in this part of Delhi where we can do our work.
