Our office is in Rohini, Sector-6, at C-4/286. It is a standard Delhi spot. The building is not new, and the stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful coming up. We do construction and engineering work. Most of the actual building happens at different sites across the city, but this is where we do the planning and keep the records. It is a small team, maybe four or five of us on a good day. We have some computers that are a bit slow, and the table is always covered in blueprints and coffee mugs. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just how it goes in Delhi. We are not doing anything grand or trying to sound important. We just focus on getting the engineering right. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and workers. Rohini is a busy place, and there are plenty of food stalls around for lunch. We don't have a big sign outside or a receptionist to greet you. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It is a practical space for practical work. We’ve been here for a while and know the local area well. It suits us fine. We aren't looking to move to a big corporate office anytime soon. This works for what we need.
