Motor Replacement Co is situated at 1669 Lothian Road, right in the middle of the Kashmere Gate area. This part of the city is famous for its auto parts market, so the streets are always packed with people and vehicles. Our shop is quite old and the storage shelves go all the way up to the ceiling. We deal with motors and all the tiny components that go inside them. It is a lot of inventory to keep track of, and sometimes we have to use high ladders just to find a single part someone is looking for. The street outside is constantly moving, and there is always a lot of shouting and horns honking throughout the day. We have been at this same spot for a very long time. We do not have a fancy showroom for people to walk around in. It is more like a working warehouse where we sell things over an old wooden counter. The wood is worn down from years of customers leaning on it while they talk to us. We spend our days looking through thick catalogs and checking part numbers for different engines. It can get a little confusing with so many models, but we have seen most of them before. Sometimes the light in the back of the shop isn't very good, so we keep flashlights handy to read the labels. We drink a lot of tea while we wait.
