Our shop is at 1007 Hamilton Road in Kashmere Gate. This part of town has so much history, and you can feel it in the old buildings and the narrow streets. We’ve been trading motor parts here for a very long time. The building itself is quite old, with high ceilings and walls that could probably tell a lot of stories. We have rows and rows of metal racks filled with parts for all sorts of vehicles. It’s a bit dusty, and the air always smells a little like engine oil and old paper. We still use some of the same heavy wooden furniture that was here when the shop first opened. It’s a busy area, with rickshaws and trucks constantly moving outside. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us for decades. They know they can find us here from ten in the morning. We don't do much in the way of modern marketing. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here at this address for so long. Sometimes we spend the whole morning just counting small screws or sorting out gaskets. It’s slow, steady work. We take our lunch sitting at the back of the shop. It’s just the way we’ve always done things around here. It works for us and the people who come in.
