Mother & Child Clinic

Our clinic is located at 5 B in the DDA Flats over in Ashok Vihar Phase III. It’s a simple setup because we are right inside the residential blocks. Being in Ashok Vihar means we are close to where most of our patients actually live, which makes it easier for them to walk over. It’s a Mother & Child Clinic, so we see a lot of pregnant women and young kids throughout the day. The space is basically a converted flat, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than a cold, sterile hospital. We have a small desk where you sign in and a few chairs for waiting. It gets a bit cramped when a few families show up at the same time with strollers or extra relatives. We do our best to stay on schedule but kids can be unpredictable. We handle things like vaccinations and basic fever treatments. We don't use fancy jargon here when we talk. We just chat with the parents and see what the problem is. Most days are busy with routine stuff. We’ve been in this part of Phase III for a while now. The staff is just a few of us who have worked together for years. We know the local pharmacy and the other shops nearby. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the occasional crying baby or noisy toddler. We like being part of the Ashok Vihar community and helping out where we can. It's just us doing our daily work.
